1) Ataxia : Cbll 손상으로 인한 운동기능 이상의 대표적인 증상으로 voluntary movement가 부드럽게 이루어지지 못하는 경우
2) Decomposition of movement

1) Intention tremor(의도진전 )
2) Dysmetria(측정이상)
3) Dysdiadochokinesia(반복운동불능)
4) Rebound phenomenon(반동현상)
5) Asynergia(협조운동이상)
3. Cbll 손상 부위별 Ataxia 양상
1)전정(원시)소뇌 손상
;체간과 근위부 근육조절, 눈 움직임 조절, 신체균형 조절 및 유지, 평행
-Truncal ataxia(동체보행실조)
-Titubation(비틀거림)
-Ataxic gait(실조성보행)
-Nystagmus(안구진탕)
-근 긴장 변화 없음, Tremor(떨림)없음

;지속적인 움직임의 조절
-시/청각, 전정계로부터 감각을 받음
-Gait disturbance(보행장애)
-근 긴장 크게 증가, Hypotonia없음

;움직임의 계획과 시작, 타이밍
-Intention tremor

1) Sensory ataxia (posterior column ataxia)
(1) A high stepping gait patterns

(2) More reliance on visual or auditory information about leg or foot position

(3) 대부분 지팡이를 짚음

2) Vestibular ataxia
(1) Disturbed equilibrium
in standing & walking

(2) Loss of equilibrium reactions

(3) A wide based, staggering gait patterns

Vestibulospinal Tract
전정기관에서 수용되는 equilibrium을 받아 axial musculature나 extensor muscle을 조절하여 몸의 균형을 유지하는 역할
3) Cerebellar ataxia
(1)Disturbance in the rate, regularity &
force of movement
(2) Loss of movement coordination
(3) Overshooting of target (dysmetria)
(4) Decomposition of movement (dyssynergia)
(5) Loss of speed & rhythm of alternating movements dysdiadochokinesia
(6) Incoordination of agonist-antagonist muscles
(7) Loss of the continuity of muscle contraction

3) Cerebellar ataxia
Spinocerebellar Tract
- 감각성분:
unconscious proprioception

- 수용기:
cutaneous receptor

5. Assessment & treatment approaches for patients with ataxia

Primary aims of treatment ( 이하 T:)

D : Weight bearing & weight transference
P: Maintaining equilibrium
T
- increase postural stability
- Enhance control of the
COG in Weight shifting
- Encourage maintenance of the control of the COG in movement from one position to another
- Progress from a wide to a narrow BOS

D : Patterns of movement
P: Coordination of dynamic movemt

T: Enhance smoothness of control
